Scott Bolhack, MD, CMD, CWS, MBA, FAAP, FACP, has been in practice in Tucson since 1992. He is board certified in internal medicine, hospice and palliative care, and pediatrics. He recently became wound care certified and is the primary provider at The Wound Care Center at Northwest Hospital.
Dr. Bolhack speaks nationally on the subject of rehabilitation in nursing homes and has gained extensive experience in the area of geriatrics. Dr. Bolhack has additional experience as a medical director for nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospice, and now at the Wound Care Center at Northwest Hospital.
Barbara Viggiano has been caring for the elderly in skilled nursing facilities since 1992 and joined the TLC QIO team in 2004. She brings with her a wide range of interests, including wound care, regulatory issues, quality assurance, infection control, MDS Coordination, and over 5 years experience as a nursing home Assistant Director of Nursing, where Case Management is so critical. Her experience and background have enhanced her role as a nurse consultant, and she is credentialed in wound care, providing training sessions to our community associates.
Chris Valenta, A/GNP, began her nursing career in 1974 in Illinois. Employed with TLC HealthCare™ Companies since 2000, she brings many years of clinical and administrative experience to the practice. Chris has worked for several medical groups throughout Pima County that focus on geriatric care. Specializing in chronic pain issues and wound care management, she also assists Dr. Bolhack in his outpatient clinic in Oro Valley. She is currently enrolled as a Doctoral student at the University of Arizona.
