TLC Posters

A poster is a visual presentation of the results of research or case studies, and if determined to be of interest to the health care professionals, it is accepted for presentation. A poster will provide a narrative summary of the project, an introduction, a description of the research methods used and the outcomes of the research. Many national professional health care organizations display posters as part of their annual educational conferences or symposiums.

TLC posters have been accepted for presentation at conferences such as the American Medical Director Association (AMDA) and the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC).

As part of TLC’s quality improvement efforts, the team utilizes research projects to demonstrate the effectiveness of certain aspects of care.  The projects may be the result of overall analysis of a particular objective, or they may be done in conjunction with a specific facility that chooses to examine a critical issue in their building. The outcome of these studies may be presented in poster fashion and submitted for display at medical conferences.
