TLC Wound Care Services utilizes the most current best practices for effective wound treatment. Clinicians focus on pressure ulcers, vascular ulcers and diabetic wounds, along with chronic or palliative, non-healing wounds. The individual needs and goals of each patient are considered in determining the course of treatment. The TLC Wound Care clinicians provide education to patients, staff and family members regarding preventative measures and the expectations for healing, especially for patients with multiple co-morbid diagnoses. For the TLC patients receiving home health services in the community, a TLC wound certified registered nurse provides routine oversight for wound management. Wound care education is provided to our affiliates in the community as requested.
